For the visuals of this recording I chose to work with Corbino again. He had also made the photo and videoclip of my Glass album. I was very impressed by his artistic skills and creative process of visualizing music.
The photo shoot was done in the studio, in order to get the shades of the harp perfectly aligned with me. We tried out different angels and finally decided on the one where the form of the harp seems to be in direct relationship with my figure, suggesting the personal connection of a person and his shadow.
For the videoclip, Corbino made beautiful combination shots of me performing and driving in a classic car thinking about the music. The choice of ‘Nuvole Bianche’ for this videoclip was based on the flow of the piece. It has a great cadence that fits the abstractness of images pulsing through the scenes. The abstractness is created by shades, lights, nature and buildings. The video will be available in the course of November.
